========================================================================== FINAL INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS (July 10, 2020) 1. The submitting of the final form of the paper implicitly implies that the author: a) has not published the article or parts of it elsewhere; b) has not submitted the article for publication elsewhere; c) will not be resubmit the article for publication elsewhere, in case of acceptance for publication in our journal, or use parts of the paper in other submissions. Misconduct in this respect will entail the appropriate standard copyright-protection actions. 2. In order to preserve a high quality of our journal, the Editorial Board has established the following formatting rules, which have to be applied by the authors, while preparing the final form: a) the "Introduction" section of the paper should reflect the actual state of the subject area; b) each work from the "References" section, needs to be cited at least once within the body of the paper; c) it is highly recommended that the journals which are cited in the submission should be ISI covered; the authors should avoid citations to non-representative journals or Proceedings volumes, in their submission. d) the authors should not cite non-published conference talks or non-published manuscripts. 3. a) The paper should be written only in LaTeX2e style. They should not be written inScientific Word/Scientific Workplace style (hence, they should not contain commands as "\input tcilatex", etc). b) The documentstyle should be "article" (not "amsart", or other). c) The authors are encouraged to use as model the sample LaTeX file, which is posted on the webpage of the journal (see item 11). 4. The manuscript should be prepared in basic font Roman 10pt size, and must remain legible after small reduction. The papers should be in English and formatted with text width/height=13/20 cm on A4-format. However, this setting is implicitly provided if using the sty file of our journal, and which is posted on the journal website. A model LaTex file is provided on the website as well. 5. The first page should contain at the very beginning: a) the title and authors (written in sentence-case, with no affiliation data - see item 6.l) which should be followed by b) short abstract (10-15 lines), MSC2000 and Keywords (written in normal font). For the MSC, please check the URL: http://www.mathem.pub.ro/_Public/MSC-2000.pdf 6. The main text of the paper should be organized in sections, confining to the following requirements: a) all subheadings (as Definition, Theorem, Lemma, Remark, etc) should be indented, numbered and in bold face; the authors may use the amsmath style and the corresponding environments. b) the text of the "theorems" (Theorems, Propositions, Lemmas, etc.) should be slanted (italic; if using amsthm.sty, \theoremstyle{plain}); c) the text of definitions, remarks and examples should be written in normal style (not in italics; if using amsthm.sty, \theoremstyle{definition}). d) the subheading Proof will be slanted as well; the end-of-proof square sign should end the proofs; e) equations should be left-numbered with section, e.g. "(3.2)"; papers having duplicate or missing equation labels will be re-sent to the author for adjustment. f) the labelled equations should be edited using the LaTeX command "\label{...}" and cited within the source file as "(\ref{...})" or as "\eqref{...}" while using the amsmath style; g) the scalar product brackets will be written using the LaTeX characters "\langle" and "\rangle", and NOT as "<" and ">", respectively. h) the references will be inserted using "\bibitem{...}$ and their citation in the source text will appear as "(\cite{...})". Model: ... Smith \cite{Sm} and Reeb \cite{Re} ... or ... (see \cite{Sm,Re})... . i) a "Conclusions" last section is recommended, though not compulsory. j) the acknowledgments should go at the end of the main text, just before the references. k) the end of the paper will consist of the references - alphabetically ordered by family name), with the title written in italics, and numbered. Model: ...\bibitem{Sm} W.R. Smith, P. Ridge and L. Abraham, {\em Autonomous dynamical systems applied in byogenetics}, Math. Nachricten 13 (1992), 113-157. ...\bibitem{Re} A.S. Reeb, {\em Numerical Simulations}, Springer Verlag, 1995. l) at the very end of the paper, after the references, there should be inserted leftside the name-affiliation-emails of the author(s), as follows: \\
.\\e-mail <...> \\
.\\e-mail <...> \\... . 7. All figures should be prepared as JPG or EPS files, and be sent to us together with the LaTeX-source file. 8. Please note that, in case that one of the problems described below occurs, the author is kindly invited to provide very fast a re-revised version of the paper, by e-mail (including TeX and PDF files). The possible problems which might occur in the final form, which require FAST and ACCURATE revision are the following: a) the abstract is missing. a') the abstract has to be rewritten: it is either too short (the normal extent is about 5-15 lines of text) or it is nonconclusive (it does not reflect the contents of the paper). e) the whole text within the paper should be rephrased using appropriate English terms and appropriate structure. The paper needs a careful revision of the contents, while the support of a native English mathematician is highly encouraged. k) the keywords are missing (please use the sample paper from the corresponding journal site indicated in item 11). m) the MSC (Mathematics Subject Classification) is missing. Please check item 5b). t) the paper should be restructured appropriately, in a professional manner (please check samples in the journals BJGA, APPS or DGDS located at the web-addresses at item 11). 9. If the authors fail to send us before the deadline the correct final form (TeX and PDF) according to the present instructions, then: - if there exists an already provided to the Editors LaTeX properly formatted version, the Editors will automatically assume that the author considers this version as final and suitable for printing; - if there exist no pior properly formatted submitted LaTeX sources, then the paper will be automatically rejected (NB !). 10. Please note that the delay in providing the revised text in due time may lead to the cancellation of the "accepted" status of the submission. 11. After publication, because of shortage of funds, the authors are encouraged to produce their own reprints by downloading/printing their paper(s) from the webpage of the journal: www.mathem.pub.ro/bjga (for BJGA) www.mathem.pub.ro/dgds (for DGDS) www.mathem.pub.ro/apps (for APPS) www.mathem.pub.ro/proc (for BSGP) 12. The journal Editors can provide payed printed reprints or CDs of the issued volumes for the personal use of the authors.
